I know I won’t be very happy with this decision later… But in skipping the gym and staying in tonight. I just worked a double. And I’m beat.
I make a mean post gym protein smoothie :)
•frozen pineapple
•frozen raspberries
•frozen peaches
•vita coco water
•chobani french vanilla yogurt
•vanilla whey protein power
35g protein. 140 calories. Yum. :)
Day two of training was great. This time I ran 2.17 miles in interval training in 30 minutes. The first day I ran 2 flat :)
Then I got Nike training club to finally download and did a 30 min intermediate routine. Shit kicked my ass. Hard. Lol
i started my training for my 5k run for your lives race in may. :] im so excited about this but i could use all the help, motivation, stories, experiences, and tips i can get.
so today was day one of training for my first 5k. ill be running the run for your lives race in boston on may 5th :] im really excited about this! but im starting off easy building my endurance with actual prolonged running.
today i did 30 minutes of interval running on the treadmill. 2 minute run followed by a 2 minute walk and so on and so on. in the end i had ran 2 miles. honestly i think thats the longest flat out running ive done in a long time. usually im hauling ass on the elliptical, cross trainer, or bike. 2 miles is 2/3 of the way to my 5k goal! day one was a success in my book. tomorrow ill try my best to push even harder, and well do some arm and abs too :]
anyone have some 5k or obstacle running training tips?
